12.20.17 | 2018 An Incomplete List of Resolutions

I've been doing an excessive amount of thinking about this past year (mainly about how much it sucked), and have been considering what I want out of the new year to ensure it won't be as horrible. Granted, I always come up with shitty resolutions and seldom follow through with all of them, but I figured it's worth a shot for this year. Also, I just really love making lists.
So, I present to you an incomplete list of 2018 resolutions, courtesy of my overly present anxiety and inspired by my many, many, many mistakes and flat-out bad choices of 2017.

1. Write more (at least 5 times a week-- every day, even better!)
2. Start researching publishing companies/agencies + begin submitting writing for publication
3. Take more photos (not just of sunsets, either, I want specific exploration in pursuit of good photography)
4. Take some breaks from social media (it's not that important anyway, fam)
5. Have more adventures (even if it's just going to Weis at 4 AM-- either way, say "yes" to more adventures and step outside the comfort bubble you've been gradually expanding)
6. End the semester with a 3.6+ GPA (I'd say 3.7+ but that's kinda too ambitious for me)
7. Become more organized (AKA have space on your desk to actually do work and fucking use the $30 planner that you absolutely "had to have")
8. Read more (25+ books to make up for the lack of books you've read in the past year-- find time for it)
9. Get back to 90 lbs (need I say more?)
10. Find an enjoyable job/make more money (either one works in this scenario, but bonus points if I could find an enjoyable job AND make money-- what a concept!)
11. Stop apologizing for things that aren't your fucking fault (you apologize for everything, mostly for things not in your own power; don't apologize unless you've actually done something wrong)
12. Stop settling for mediocre, toxic, lukewarm relationships (you deserve better, find someone who will give you what you deserve)
13. Start journaling again (keep track of the days, your moods, look at different prompts because Pinterest has plenty)
14. Get your writing out there (do whatever you can to expand/create an audience for your writing-- you want this more than anything, so fucking work for it, don't expect it to just magically happen)
15. Be more appreciative (you've got a great life, take advantage of it, thank the Universe, make the most of it)
